THE BURUNDI CHILD RIGHT FORUM(BCRF) in acronym is a Non Profit Association under Burundian law National coalition type ,the BCRF was created on December 21, 20180 the initiative of 19 Burundian associations committed to the promotion and protection of the Rights of the children.

Childrens Education

Education is the key to success, let’s help our children get a quality education for a better tomorrow.

KEY ACTIVITIES OF THE BCRF COALITION

Early Childhood Protection and Development

We ensure that the children are taken to school to seek education ,hence nobody violets their rights.

Improving children’s access to Education and Training

One of the basic needs a child needs is education. Therefore we ensure that no child lacks education.

Improving children’s access to Health and Nutrition Services

Health is very important due to that we normally provide medical camps for free and distribute foods to the community in order for everyone to feed and become healthy.

Reducing Children’s Access to Alcohol and Drugs

Peer pressure amongst the youths is real, Most of them have engaged themselves into drugs which had lead to dropping out of school and even engaging themselves into crime. however we usually Mentor them and engage them into activities such as sports ,Sketching etc.

Improving the living conditions of children and families in difficult situations

Most of the families are facing difficulties, sometimes they are unable to provide for themselves

Advocacy and Lobbying for the Strengthening of juvenile justice mechanisms.

We usually ensure’s that the rights of the children are not violeted
